Description

MultiNational Underwriters, a subsidiary of HCC Insurance Holdings, is seeking a Group Underwriter to work in our Underwriting Department. This individual would have at least 3 years experience in group medical underwriting. The Group Underwriter would be responsible for properly analyzing medical risk, binding coverage, compiling enrollment materials, and preparing tracking reports. Full knowledge of medical terminology and ability to accurately read medical records, charts, and lab results required.

Requirements

Required qualifications include superior oral and written communication skills as well as proficiency with internet and Microsoft Office. Candidates must have good customer service skills and be capable of working independently while maintaining full level of efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness in a fast-paced environment. Life/health insurance license and/or multi-lingual skills will also be highly valuable.
