Description
MultiNational Underwriters (MNU) is seeking a Marketing Executive for the Sales department. MultiNational Underwriters is a subsidiary of HCC Insurance

This position will report to Indianapolis, IN. HCC Insurance operations consist of underwriting agencies; intermediaries; and life, property and casualty insurance companies which are rated A+ (Superior) by A.M. Best Company and AA (Very Strong) by Standard & Poor’s. HCC Insurance specializes in diversified financial products; group life, accident & health; general aviation; property; marine and energy; and other specialty insurance. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree is a must. This position will be responsible for the Southeast Region, which includes the Southeastern United Sta tes, the Caribbean, and Central & South America. The Marketing Executive will report to Executive Vice President.
Responsibilities
- Provide and assist in staff training and development as required
- Possess strong organization and detail oriented skills
- Work with Executive Management to develop new opportunities in outside sales and with insurance professionals
- Develop and manage regional budgets
- Build new client relationships while maintaining current client relationships
- Oversee and manage a staff of sales and marketing professionals
- Participate in the selection process of candidates for department positions
Skill Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in supervising and training staff
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Strong sales management & direct selling experience is necessary
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written
- Experience in developing and managing a financial budget.
- Must be a team player with the ability to interact and work well with others
- Must have excellent problem solving skills and ability to multitask
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
